Pokemon Go And Parkour: In Video!

Heard of Pokemon Go? Of course you have. Well, if you’re a fan of the augmented reality game (or even if you’re not, really), then you’re going to get a serious kick out of this latest YouTube video from Devin Super Tramp who devotes his time to making video game parkour videos, this time cashing in on the popularity of Pokemon Go.

Parkour athletes Calen Chan and Ronnie Shalvis have been roped in to help him with this one, dressing up as Pokemon characters and then trying to escape Team Rocket who are hell bent on catching them.

One watch and you’ll be champing at the bit to get out there and practice your own flips, spins and jumps off high buildings – if you’ve got the necessary stones, of course. Parkour isn’t something you can just have a go at – you’ve got to start off small and then build your way up. Getting yourself fit and in shape is a must so maybe head to the gym first before you try leaping from your roof to your neighbour’s.

It’s definitely a sport we’d love to get into here at Pawn Future Kings though so if you do it yourself, get in touch to let us know exactly where we need to begin. A bit of a helping hand would be much appreciated! For the time being, we’ll stick to pounding the pavement in our streetwear clothing but who knows? In a year or two, we could be making our own parkour videos ourselves. Cheers to that!
