4 Overseas Music Festivals To Go To In 2016

Fans at an open-air live festival

Looking for somewhere to rock your urban streetwear clothing this year? Then it’s got to be at a festival somewhere other than the UK. If you’ve done Glastonbury, Leeds and Wireless, then stuff your passport in your back pocket and look further afield for festival inspiration. Here are four ideas.

Sziget Festival

Taking place between August 10th and 17th, this week-long affair is headlined this year by David Guetta, Rihanna and Muse so should be a good’un. It sells out every year pretty much and you’ll have a brilliant time partying on in Budapest till the sun comes up.

Burning Man

Head to the Nevada Desert between August 28th and September 5th this year for Burning Man, one of those festivals that you have to go to before you die. Tens of thousands of people gather here each year to create a temporary city dedicated to art, community and self-expression.

Magnetic Fields

Fancy a trip to India? Book your tickets to cover festival dates December 9th to the 11th so you can catch this year’s Magnetic Fields festival, which takes place in a 17th century Rajasthani palace outside Jai Pur. Boutique camping and palace suites are available so don’t think you’ll be roughing it (unless you want to of course).

Flow Festival

Have a great time in Helsinki between August 12th and 14th at Flow Festival, which takes place in an industrial power plant. It’s one for the foodies as the city’s best restaurants compete to come up with the best organic food possible, while big name acts like Massive Attack and Iggy Pop take to the stage.
